Owning ones own aircraft has got to be the
ultimate big-boy-toy ego trip - a real jet is the ultimate
real mans toy to own - bar none - it cant be beat
Not only is it the coolest way to fly, but you can even leave 'your
stuff' in it - 'cause its yours - leave your stuff on-board, send
someone for it later on
Of course one could simply rent or charter a jet for the trip - but
thats like taking a cab from the airport - its not yours, the colors
suck and its smells
Another very large consideration is safety & maintenance - or more
importantly - the lack thereof - owning your very own jet means you
have control
over who does what and when - you also get to design the interior
to suit your tastes - with private ownership one can even install a
decent functional
chrome pole for real live in-flight entertainment - not your boring
Animal Channel that commercial jet ownership dictates - your buddies
and clients are
gonna love you for ever & ever - plus its also one of
the greatest sales & marketing tools available to the next

The most
exclusive type of private jet
is the Ultra Heavy jet type, which are especially designed for the
ultimate in large capacity luxury
air travel. The Boeing Business Jet
is based on the Boeing 737 commercial jet aircraft family. The
Airbus
Corporate Jetliner is based on
the commercial Airbus 320 jet aircraft
family. Embraer’s Lineage 1000 is based on the Embraer 170
commercial
jet aircraft.

Private Jet Ownership done right is also 100% Tax
Deductible - from fuel, to booze, to food, to crew &

legal avenues that the new owner to be can explore that will further
limit ones cash outlay and enhance the pride & joy of Private Jet
Ownership
Size Matters
One of the most important factors - and, in our opinion -
the most critical is headroom - being able to stand up and move around
unimpeded is tantamount
if one is to enjoy ones own private jet to the maximum - it is
meaningless to be strapped in, in a tiny sardine can for say 12 hours
and sleep the flight away
One might as well fly commercial and take a sleeping pill - one is
still going to have jet lag at the other end - no matter how one slices
that body-bio thingy
One of the unintended advantages of using a hub - such as Dubai or
Bangkok - is breaking up the journey into bit-sized chunks - it gives
one a break and
allows man ans machine time to refuel and refresh - it also allows one
to explore the unknown - perhaps Qatar, Nam, Makati, Mauritius and the
Maldives
Its your jet - you might as well enjoy it
Aviation safety has come a long way in over one
hundred years of implementation. In modern times, two major
manufacturers still produce heavy
passenger aircraft for the civilian market: Boeing in the United
States of America and the European company Airbus. Both have placed
a huge
emphasis on the use of aviation safety equipment, now a billion-dollar
industry in its own right, and made safety a major selling point
realizing
that a poor safety record in the aviation industry is a threat to
corporate survival. Some major safety devices now required in
commercial aircraft email

In contrast to the luxury trappings of private jets, charter
brokering is a bare-knuckle trade in which companies can scramble for
profits and
poach each other's clients and employees. The stock promoters for one
broker, Austin, Texas- based Connect-A-Jet.com Inc., were sued
last March for fraud by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The case was pending as of mid-August.
The trend continued in the first half, with 663 jets delivered, 39
percent more than a year earlier. Those planes aren't cheap. A
top-of-the-line
General Dynamics Corp. Gulfstream G650, which can seat 18 people, runs
as much as $60 million for an aircraft that won't be delivered until
2012. In its July 23 earnings report, General Dynamics reported
``extremely strong demand'' for the G650, without elaborating.
Which jet to purchase comes down to the considerations of distance
and how much room. Increasing either or both considerations also
increases
the price quickly. Light jets range from three million to eight million
dollars, and carry five to eight passengers a range of just over 2,000
miles.
Intermediate jets range from nine million to sixteen million dollars,
and carry nine passengers a range around 2,500 miles. Large jets range
from
seventeen million to forty-five million dollars, and carry twelve
passengers a range around 2,500 miles. The large executive jets ($17
million to
$45 million) can transport 12 passengers over 4,000 miles.
Thanks for listening.
